Star-rated hotels generally have the following characteristics:
1. The air conditioning system must be adaptable to various temperature conditions,
2. The air conditioning system operates for extended periods, necessitating high energy
3. The ability to provide hygienic hot water 24/7, with a stable supply being a necessity.
In star-rated hotels, the air conditioning water system is typically designed as a four-pipe system. For internal areas with large dining and banquet facilities, which require year-round cooling, a two-pipe system can be implemented. Public areas in the back-of-house or those where cooling and heating can be centralized and switched seasonally are ideally suited for a two-pipe system with summer-winter conversion, thereby saving on investment costs and building space for owners.
For the guest room segment, Frimec's FHCC series of low-noise fan coil units combined with a fresh air system can be used. Presidential suites should have an independent fresh air system. Lobbies, banquet halls, large dining spaces, large and medium-sized conference rooms are best served by Frimec's FCAH full-air air conditioning system. Small dining rooms can be furnished with a fresh air system, and if there is a mechanical and electrical interlayer nearby, the FAH series cabinet units can be employed.
During the summer, air conditioning systems expel a significant amount of heat. Using cold recovery or air-cooled tri-generation units allows for the simple and rapid recovery of this heat, transforming waste into a valuable resource, thereby substantially reducing operating costs for users.
